One of the most innovative companies in the world, Tesla, has just presented its latest model – Cybertruck. Despite the extravagant appearance and unbelievable performance, this car will fight mainly on the US market of popular pickup trucks that almost every family in the US has in the garage.
“CYBRTRK” is 5,885 m long. For comparison, the most popular car of this type in Poland, Ford Ranger, measures about 5.3 meters. The width of the Tesla is 2027mm and height is 1905mm. One of the most important issues in pickups is the payload. Tesla has not yet revealed how many suitcases we will pack, but we can expect that the trunk will be both at the front and back due to lack of an internal combustion engine. The interior is very minimalistic and seats up to 6 people.
Tesla technology
The most powerful variant with three engines is expected to reach 100km/h in 2.9 seconds, which is faster than many sport cars. The weakest, however, will do the same slower, in 6.5 seconds. Customers will have a choice of three variants that differ in performance and range. The cheapest, valued at $39,900 will travel 400 km on a single charge. The middle, valued at $49,900, will beat 480 km on a full battery. Best one will surprise you with its 800 km range and a pulling capacity of 6.3 tonnes.
Market
Elon Musk boasts of a huge number of pre-orders without spending a single dollar on marketing. He gave it to memes and an online journalist. Despite this, even the orders placed by the Mexican Police and Dubai Police did not help stop the fall in share prices, which fell by 7% after Cybertruck release.
Cybertruck will be on the roads in 2021 and then we will see if it is a success, for now only Elon Musk can take his ride on streets of California.

Tesla Cybertruck has been a hit on internet since its presentation. There are a lot of memes with its participation, and Internet users also laugh at the failed presentation of bulletproof glass.

Regardless of the internet reaction, what do you think of the design? i Think it looks cool and Elon is known to think outside the box. This design will be another example that big ideas need some clout on the internet first.
It’s too bad you didn’t explore why the shares are falling despite such rave support from the public! It’s actually a pretty interesting story with the investors!
Nonetheless, I wish the technology were implemented into other industries! Dyson’s move (which was retracted) to do something similar to what Tesla does was completely shocking (since it was a change from things like hairdryers to self-driving cars). I’m in no ways a technology expert, but its technology seems to have tremendous potential!
