Artificial Talent- first artificial model agency

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Why use Photoshop when you can create artificial models?

If you’re planning on opening a new fashion brand and are worried about costs of advertising and fashion campaigns, don’t panic! There is a solution.

Artificial Talent is the first model agency creating print models using deep artificial intelligence and 3D art. The CGI body and an AI face can be chosen from the catalog or designed especially for the clients needs. The agency offers also face swapping, which is useful for international brands with customers from different regions. Artificial Talent can create an artificial environment and place a model in various exotic locations.

How does it work?

First the company receives clothing samples from their client. Then they put the samples on a mannequin and isolate them from the body. They insert the clothes on a CGI body chosen before by the client and merge it with an AI face and artificial environment.

Premium campaign with unlimited pose, face, body type and background choice costs $799 (3 085,06 PLN). The basic one with 10 poses and 5 faces is a cost of $199 (768,37 PLN).

I think that artificial models are a great technological improvement. They help brands save time and money, are photorealistic, can ‚wear’ an unlimited amount of clothes, can be easily modified, can’t ruin your brand’s reputation and can be created exclusively for you.

Are you willing to buy clothes promoted by artificial models? Or maybe they will appear in your future brand’s campaign?

Fabulous post! As the fashion photographer, I would say that artificial models will never replace “natural” ones. Just because client wants not only beautiful pictures of clothes, but also emotions from the model. The main objective of the advertisement is to prompt a customer to become a model on the picture. Hope, this startup will be successful, but yet people live and campaigns industry is striving, it is going to be something like a game.

Cool idea, I support it. Probably would still buy clothes that are promoted by artificial models! Looking forward to seeing robots catwalking on fashion shows while promoting clothes.

Reading this post, I was reminded of the possibilities of a neural network that generates photos of people who never existed. And it is exciting.

Although using your own neural network in this industry can significantly reduce costs for companies working in this field, the real live models will no longer be needed.

This is a bit scary because in the future we will no longer see live people on photos and posters. All we will see is a projection of people invented by the neural network.

In addition to this, hologram models have been gracing the runways since 2006, so I think it’s safe to say that technology is well on its way to take over the fashion industry.
