Facebook from years shows us everything we want to see at “wall” – although sometimes advertisements that did not exactly match our needs. The new change which may annoy is that the company is going to show us the posts from the Facebook’ groups to which we do not belong to. It is really not good to dictate what to watch. What is more, because of that we may miss up interesting things like photos of our friends, new posts or everything what is interesting for us. Facebook want to improve that because they thinking that groups can be more used and they want to work on that more deeply.
Another big change is because of new EU directive ePrivacy. This will may a huge impact on two applications that belong to Facebook group: Messenger and Instagram. From the middle of December we could see that some functions is not available.
This is all because of new law statements in Europe. Facebook still working on it. Eprivacy is about obtaining and processing user data which has to be confidential in short, it is about metadata.
The changes we make may affect some developers and companies that use the Messenger API. From December 16, part of the API is not available to them. This also applies to people living in Europe who contact companies from all over the world.

Facebook has disabled some Instagram and Messenger functions in Europe
Can’t use Facebook at all because of its interface. Telegram is much more comfortable, secure and without addvertisment
I totally agree with you! In my opinion even the post-soviet VKontakte was better realised.
When I started my juorney with Facebook I really liked it. For me it was clear at first and was comfortable to use. But now it is really all over the place. I cannot see clearly what I want, like the groups I’m in or people that I’m friends with. For now I’m keeping it, but I’m sure that one day I will delete it, if they won’t get rid of those problems.
Facebook is changing, that is totally understandable. They want to improve the user experience, however with a cost on people that are fine with the current version. I must say that I am not a huge fan of the new changes. I really liked the previous design of Facebook too! Just of course this one is more modern. What is really annoying is their ads everywhere like on Instagram. Ads ads ads… And now with the new features, I cant see a lot of interesting things for me.
Thank you for this article!
It is a disaster to use Facebook for me, because I can’t really figure out on what its search system is based on, feed is unclear and uncomfortable. What is more, adding this stuff will make this situation even worse, we see it on Instagram, then u wanna see some old posts and instead of it you see adds
like the other guys from Post-Soviet space I prefer Telegram to FB
My biggest issue with Facebook is that they are actually not improving quality but making it worse. Messenger is working poorly recently and I think Facebook is kinda dead nowadays. More people tend to use instagram or twitter instead of FB.
Facebook is generally distrusted company right now. Company that lives of personalized advertisment is obviously making drastic changes as the world moves towards increased privacy.
I am not a big fan of Facebook currently, I prefer Twitter by a lot. Facebook works terribly on google chrome and it crashes or lags constantly. A lot of ads, missing features on messengers that were present before are not helping the situation either.
