That will be the first BMW to receive an electric motor in the M class. The XM production is planned to begin in late 2022.
750 horsepower and 737 foot-pounds of torque provide a V8 engine combined with an electric motor. There is also the all-new black kidney grill which from now on will be illuminated.

The interior will attract us with its “vintage-look” leather and a curved display that binds the entertainment display with the instrument panel. As the BMW M line CEO says the XM concept car will utterly redefine the high-performance vehicle segment.

We still don’t have much information about this model, BMW is willing to develop into a more electrified future. By 2030 50% of those german cars are meant to be fully electric. We will see how it goes.

The car looks great in the graphics, and as sure as the BMW M-series models will have the same amazing performance and will give a great driving experience.
However, I cannot understand the moves of all the big car companies. Because this car, like every other car from M-series will be incredible, but also like every other car from M-series it will probably sell in small numbers, only the brand’s passionate people will buy it, who are ready to spend any money for a new the best and the fastest car model. It is true that these cars are great, but they are only presented to show the performance of the brand and its technical advancement.
It seems to me that car companies should focus more on the production of electric cars available to the general public, if they really care about spreading this type of “fuel”, and later when it will become a standard they can focus on the production of cars for performance.
