Lab-grown meat for sure will be the future along with insects, but still, people will prefer actual meat rather than lab-grown meat even with all the benefits. Unless the technology is improved for lab-grown meat for it to be highly environmentally friendly, high yield produced and should taste good then people will opt for lab-grown meat.

This concept makes me think about one issue. Taking into consideration, that it might be a future for meat sourcing and that there are currently around one billion cows living on earth, mostly for meat, what will happen with them? A mass extinction? How to approach that issue in terms of ethics?

I wonder which market will be larger in let’s say 10 years from now – meat replacement like Beyond, or Lab-Grown meat. Nowadays, we can observe a huge trend of more and more people adopting no-meat diet – i’m curious if mass adoption of the lab-grown meat will reduce this trend and keep more people on the side of meat (at least without killing animals)?

It is interesting for me will the expiration date be different for this type of meat. Also, I am curious how the overall taste and cooking recipes will be changed or will they be very similar.
