My uncle is blind I was thinking of buying such a gift for him and have delved more into the subject of these glasses. The touch panel used to control the glasses is on the right side so may be not as pleasant to use for left-handed people. What also worries me is the short battery life of 4-5 hours, if the glasses were to used at work, they would have to be recharged, because people spend an average of 9 hours a day at work,
which also means that to be able to use them all day we would need to charge them at least 2-3 times what is more they will need constant internet access. Nevertheless contains many interesting features like text reading, indentifying, video calling and the future app platform. I believe it can improve the lives of blind people and make them more comfortable!
