After the 5G telecom technology have been introduced, mobile giants like Huawei are now battling for a newest generation – sixth.

Many companies are competing for a newest possible technology. It is done not only in order to gain advantage on a technological background, but also on a geopolitical one. As China became very influential after introducing the 3G and 4G (LTE), the 6G would be a real deal. It would introduce a new level of technology on telecom market. Because of that, it is said that it would most likely gain even higher political and economical size and influence as it is right now.

Western economies such as USA are concerned as the rally begins very fast. They now want to introduce any regulations that would reduce the amount of competition in order to somehow reduce the China’s advantage.

COSTS

Firstly, 6G technology which is now created by companies such as Huawei, as well as the availability of suitable infrastructure in other countries may limit its ability to give China a complete advantage. What is more is that the attitudes of governments towards 6G adoption will also play a significant role in determining whether or not it gives any country an overall advantage.

In conclusion, while 6G may provide some level of competitive advantage for China, it is not likely to be enough to give it a complete control over other countries. Very important factor is also government policies which also play an important role in the development of the technology and its ultimate impact on global competitiveness.

REGULATIONS

Many regulatory aspects related to 6G technologies must be considered. Huawei is expected to deliver its final product by 2030. By this time, the whole world has to be technically prepared in order to enter new way of technology generation. Many issues such as spectrum allocation, national security, privacy and data protection has to be considered. These regulatory issues need to be addressed in order to ensure the successful adoption of 6G technologies in different countries around the world.

The real question is…. Will China gain the power and influence over the world by introducing 6G technology into the life?

In my opinion – not so much. Meanwhile 6G may provide some competitive advantage for China, it is unlikely to give it a complete control and influence over other countries.

Therefore, other nations will also have to ensure their citizens have access to the best 6G technologies by performing various amounts of research and development, investment in infrastructure as well as regulations. This is likely to be a challenging but necessary for most countries who are willing to stay competitive in the digital world. Ultimately, it could be argued that 6G technology will play an increasingly important role in global competitiveness and that all countries should strive to ensure their citizens have access to the latest advancements in this field. With the right foundations in place, 6G could be a major force for global progress in the years to come.

What is your point of view on that?

You thinl Huawei will beat Apple with their new technology?

Will China be the main competitor and be better than USA?

In my honest and humble opinion, I want to say to expend the 5G network around the world first before moving onto the 6th gen. I’ve been using LTE (4G) for the past 4-5 years and I have no problem with it. Others around me also use LTE but rarely anyone that I know has access to 5G networks. I might be living under a rock, and that 5G is actually happening mostly around the world, but I still feel like the 5th generation really needs to be a little more influential, such as building channels in more remote areas or developing countries. Building the 6th generation network would just be as surprising as when they released the 5th generation. Good blog though, really informative and neat.
