All worldwide car brands are introducing their new, concept, future-looking vehicles, which in future may replace the cars we know and see today.

The all new BMW “I VISION Dee” is a completely next level. One of the most popular car manufacturer introduced a new concept car, which has more to do with a robot, or AI machine, rather than a car that goes forward and changes the gears.

DEE, which stands for “Digital Emotional Experience” has various types of new technology included, which we wouldn’t even consider thinking of as of now.

What exactly is so unique about this concept vehicle?

Well, many people consider this car as a one straight from a metaverse, or video game “Cyberpunk 2077”. But it’s not the looks that are impressive here. Let’s start with a new technology. BMW introduced a possibility to change the colour of the car in any way possible.

BMW introduced option for users to choose from 32 different colors. Moreover, the car will also have option of mixing and matching the colours, because of 240 different panel segments that the vehicle has on the body.

Another technology is new infotainment system, that will be all over the car’s cockpit. New systems of hardware and software allow BMW to spread whole touchscreen along the car’s dashboard, as well as various head ups displays on windshield that would cover all space.

In my opinion, those concept cars are very futuristic, and it is a long way for them to look like this. However, because of today’s such quick development and “rush into the future” it is likely that such scenario may occur in the next 20 years. All manufacturers now have an EV rally, but next stage will be fully autonomous cars. I think such concept the BMW is giving out to the people, is very innovative, but needs some time for the people to adapt to such product, as many of the people still rely on classic, one colored, combustion engine vehicles, that aren’t stuffed with technology so much. Such move of producing cars that are changing the colors, will remove a lot of market segments like paint shops, vinyl wrap detailing shops, as well as many many more. Important thing is also – how long such car with that huge amount of technology, panels and electronics will last? Will it be 5 years? 10? 20? Maybe even more, like a reliable, never-breaking Ford F-150?

I think people are really not ready for this yet. Mankind has not yet fully accepted electric cars, such a car with such technologies is not even out of the question. Of course, this is all very cool, but I can’t even imagine how much it will cost to change spare parts for this car in the event of an accident
