Are New iPhones Worth the Investment?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

How do you think people buy the new Iphones because of the brand and status or the price is justified? People are ready to give away their savings and last money for these expensive and well-branded phones. It’s time to evaluate the quality of new iphones and decide if it really costs that money.

In the last 14 years, Apple has changed the market with its revolutionary products. From day one, they were selling more units than any other phone on the market and had been dominating the industry ever since. An iPhone can be costly upfront, and if you decide to purchase a newer model every year or two, it can add up very quickly.

Current prices on the last models :

  • iPhone 13 256GB: $699
  • iPhone 14 256GB: $799
  • iPhone 15 256GB: $899

Whether or not new iPhones are worth the investment is a subjective matter that depends on individual needs, preferences, and budget constraints. However, there are several factors to consider when making this decision:

  • Ease of use: Apple phones are known for their ease of use. Their usability comes from simple operating logic: all the apps are launched from the home screen. All the settings, for example, can be found under one menu. And even if you upgrade your iPhone to the newest model, the operating system still works the same way and taking it into use is easy.
  • Ecosystem Integration:If you use other Apple products like a Mac or an iPad, owning an iPhone can help streamline your digital life. The devices are designed to work seamlessly together, making it easy to transfer files, share information, and stay connected across all your devices.
  • The best quality of photo and video: Sometimes people get the Apple products just because of the camera and I, as a user of these phones, can confidently agree that the camera is worth that price. Phones have different options to transform your video of a view from the window to the moment from the film. (Especially iphones pro version)
  • “Environmentally friendly”: Many companies have a tendency now to create something ecological, so the Iphone decided not to pack with phone things like the block for charging or headphones (basically they were in the younger models). It is very funny because people still need to charge their phones and pay extra money for separated blocks. So you should be ready that after the happiness of the new mobile phone you have to go and again spend your money.

In my opinion,  maybe the products of Apple are a little bit overpriced but they are still durable and well designed. It is not necessary to buy every new model every year (like some people usually do), but by buying this phone once, you might be confident that you will forget about thinking of a new device for at least 4 years.

Very interesting topic and well-written blog.

I totally agree with you and I also find buying brand new iPhone whenever some fresh model is realesed an absolute nonsense- if we were to compare iPhone 13 with 14 the only difference was weight and (surely) price.

Besides, it is no secret that we have reached the point in history where our phones have anything the user could dream of— friendly software, touchscreen, camera, options to call, text, send e-mails and access to Internet (duh).

So why does Apple relentlessly produce new models even though there are not any manufacturing defects…?

The only reason is Apple’s pressure to maintain its market leader position.
If Apple does not want to mimeo the great failure of its great predecessor, Blackberry, then they are doomed to show up with the updated versions of its products to customers.

Despite the fact that I am a fan of Apple and like their products very much for their design and performance I agree that the prices of the latest iPhone models are morbidly high. One might therefore wonder if it is actually worth investing so much money in such a device. Looking at the fact that these products are locked only to Apple’s ecosystem and are not exactly environmentally friendly I would have to think longer about buying a new model, which is definitely overpriced.

As an iPhone user I can agree that it is definitely easier in using compared to android, however the price in my opinion mostly comes from the level of luxury that Apple has. Other phones also have great cameras, sometimes even better than the ones in iPhones. However the phenomenon is that people still mainly give this reason for buying such an expensive item. I think that mostly people buy Apple products, because they are perceived as the exclusive one’s which increases the demand for the item for almost all people.

Great written article! I think that people buy new iPhones because they are a status symbol and they are known for their quality. The iPhones are also very well integrated with other Apple products, which makes it easy to use them together which is also a huge advantage over other brands. However, they are also very expensive, and it is not necessary to buy a new model every year.

I do like their products, however i agree that buying a new IPhone every year is a waste of money. Their new models are not much better than the previous ones, so switching to the new model each year sounds pointless to me.

Apple products are really overpriced, but at the same time they are the most convenient technology to use. The best feature is the connection between different devices and the ability to easily transfer information from one to another.
Other features such as photo quality may still not seem worth the price to some users, while for others they are the main reason for the purchase

Definitely not, development of iPhone is getting slower and slower. Honestly from year to year iPhone is improving camera, processor, battery but this is basically it. This is not more breakthrough technologie. There is no real reason to update your phone if you have previous version of an iPhone.
