About the Titan project, within the framework of which Apple plans to develop and release an “apple” electric car on the road, it became known back in 2014.  Then, for the first time, information appeared that the company began to design its own car.  It is also known that Apple will focus on developing a new battery that could “radically” reduce the cost of batteries for electric cars and increase the battery life of the car.

 Apple plans to use a unique “mono-cell” design that expands the volume of individual battery cells and frees up space.  This means that more active material can be packed inside the battery, allowing the vehicle to run longer on a single charge.  First of all, the company may face problems in the supply chain.  It is still unclear who will assemble the electric car, but sources expect the company to target those manufacturers with whom it already has partnerships.  In addition, there is a possibility that Apple will have to produce too many electric cars.  To make a profit, car manufacturers often request large quantities, which can be a problem even for Cupertinians.

 “To have a viable assembly plant, you need to build 100,000 vehicles from there every year,” a source familiar with the situation told Reuters.  In addition, given the pandemic, the launch of the assembly could be pushed back to 2025 or later, two Reuters sources said.

Space Adventures offers a flight around the Moon, a visit to the ISS, a spacewalk, flight on a special Boeing 727-200, G-FORCE ONE ™, zero gravity, and several ground training options.  This organization has the most impressive experience in organizing tourist flights from Baikonur since 2001, and the first among the tourists sent into orbit is the head of Cirque du Soleil Guy Laliberté.  The prices for Space Adventures services depend on the duration of the process and its components, which include a medical examination and a certificate of a future tourist, training, preparation for a flight in Star City, the flight itself and the subsequent rehabilitation.

 Virgin Galactic provides bright prospects for space tourism: tickets for a 2.5-hour suborbital flight aboard SpaceShipTwo have been sold out 2-3 years in advance, but you can sign up for later.

The cost

The price of a tourist flight into space depends on several factors, among which the main ones are the duration of the mission and its plan.  For example, several days on the ISS cost $ 58-75 million. Space tourists have to pay more for additional entertainment.  Do you want to go to outer space?  Prepare $ 15 million.

You can ride a rocket at supersonic speed for $ 1 million. Another option is a 2.5 hour flight into space, which Virgin Galactic offers for only $ 250,000.

Requirements 

You need to be healthy.  The state of not only your wallet is important here, but of course the physical and psychological health.  Before the flight, everyone undergoes special training, which lasts 6-9 months: training for zero gravity, survival, almost a complete set of training for a professional astronaut.  But the decision on admitting you to the flight will be made only before the start, when the last medical report is positive.

 In space, the human body works differently: in a day it is exposed to an almost annual dose of radiation and receives a strong weakening of immunity.  True, the biological clock in space slows down.

All in all

Initially, having chosen this topic, I thought about writing the pros and cons of space tourism.  But I still decided not to.  Now technology is developing so quickly and everyone has their own opinion on this matter.  But I can’t to not agree that it would be interesting and informative for me to experience this in my life!
