Human has for some time created machines that resemble birds, thanks to which we can move between countries and cities. It is known that it is about aeroplanes which for most people in the world will not become a private means of transport. The only way to use them is to buy a ticket from a private carrier and fly there. A Slovak company that creates flying cars instead of planes wants to change the matter. So it is possible that in 2022, as in memes, we will have flying cars, so yes, but not entirely.

 Have we reached the era of flying cars?

Much is still unknown about flying cars, but recently the Slovak company has made a breakthrough. Their car plane made a long flight of 35 minutes during which it developed a cruising speed of 180 km / h at an altitude of 2,800 rpm. The automatic speed of this car is 160 km / h. Interestingly, the aircar is equipped with a 140 horsepower engine. The engines are supplied directly by BMW. The vehicle moves very smoothly in the air space and performs well on the normal road. The car can also fold and unfold quickly, which will also undoubtedly make it very useful.

Other companies producing flying cars.

Other companies are also starting to arm themselves with an air fleet. Companies such as Toyota or Uber also propose solutions for flying cars, but they only talk about the first prototypes that we could already see at motor shows. However, the work on them is definitely not as advanced as that of those flying cars from Slovakia.

Worries

Despite the fact that flying cars will certainly be cheaper than private planes, they will consume less fuel and therefore will be less harmful to the environment, there is still so much new technology that they can be purchased by a few people. Another problem may be obtaining a license for such equipment because it is not as easy to drive as a car that many people have a problem with. The creators themselves say that their task now is to make their vehicles as easy to use as possible during the flight and to make their driving stable enough not to lead to an accident. And here comes another issue, which is the airspace, as long as there are not as many machines in the air as, on Earth, it is not known how Aircar will behave in the event of heavy winds, downpours or abuses. Unfortunately, if the car skids, it can become a huge tragedy, but it can only crash or fall into a ditch, in the event of losing control of the Aircar a few hundred meters above the ground, it will lead to the crash of the vehicle and death of the pilot. It will be extremely difficult to build a flying car that can cope with the toughest weather conditions.

To sum up

Aircar may be an innovative device and I personally believe it, but I have many concerns about driving such a vehicle. The first rain or a gale, and unfortunately it may end in a tragedy. I hope that when the aircar becomes the final product, it will be tested enough, in all environmental conditions, you will be able to move around with peace of mind.

What is Tesla?

Tesla is a modern electric car company founded by Elon Musk, the first or second person in the world depending on how its shares are quoted on Wall Street.

The company has increased its popularity in recent years and thanks to the enormous technological progress its electric cars seem to be the most efficient and their price is not terribly high compared to what these cars represent.
Currently, Tesla has 4 models in its permanent assortment (model S, model Y, model 3, model X) and one model in the preorder (CYBERTRUCK).

THE FUTURE OF TESLA

Tesla in 2021 recorded the highest number of cars sold, which amounted to almost one million units, it was possible thanks to the increased production of these cars in the USA and China. Even analysts did not predict such a large increase in the sales of these cars, which, compared to 2020, increased by 87 per cent in 2021, which is an impressive result even for such a wealthy company. And the development plans mentioned by Musk, based on the creation of factories also in Europe (Germany) or in Texas. Musk said Tesla is expected to sell up to 20 million cars a year in the next decade.

Why cant there be such a big sale?

The interest in purchasing cars is generally growing every year. However, 20 million a year seems to be impossible to achieve in the next decade. Most of the chipsets necessary for building cars as well as reusable batteries in tesla are made in China. The conflict between the US and China is slowly developing, as evidenced by the relocation of US troops to the Pacific. It seems impossible for China not to increase prices for its services to American companies, which may cause a significant increase in prices for building batteries or chipsets, which will ultimately lead to an increase in the prices of Tesla’s cars, which may cause sales to remain at a similar level or even fall. In addition, in the coming years, the number of materials necessary to build these cars may be significantly reduced, which may mean that the production of Tesla cars will not be so dynamic. The direct lack of environmental friendliness may also deter them from buying Tesla cars. Tesla has been proud for years that their cars are the most ecological of all, however, to charge their batteries, they mainly use non-renewable energy which has nothing to do with environmental protection, plus their batteries contain many substances and elements that cannot be decomposed, so they need to be stored which is also very bad for the environment.

Summarize

Tesla will certainly increase the annual sales of cars in the coming years, it is inevitable, however, it seems to me that sales of 20 million units per year are unattainable for them in the next decade.

WHAT IS A HOLOGRAM?

Hologram – a photographic record on a carrier of at least two-wave interference images, which in the reading gives two independent 3D spatial images (three-dimensional).

HOW IS HOLOGRAM MADE?

But how exactly is this real hologram created? A hologram can be created with the help of two lasers. One of the lasers is necessary to illuminate the object to be displayed on the hologram. The second laser illuminates the cliches on which the hologram will then be created.

HOLOGRAMS IN THE POP CULTURE

Holograms are not a completely new idea because they have been appearing in literature or science fiction films for many years, e.g. famous scenes in Startreck or Star Wars, they are also used in modern illusion magic in which Magicians, using mirrors and other items, also try to create illusions optical to resemble the previously mentioned holograms.

HOLOGRAMS TODAY

Companies creating holograms with various applications appear in the world but are mainly used to connect to huge conferences in which the interested person can display their hologram anywhere in the world. Some time ago, due to limitations related to Covid19, some heads of large companies could not appear at events due to limitations related to covid 19, therefore they decided to create holograms that would lead the panel at the conference. Portal, a company dealing with the preparation of such holograms, received an order from the head of the Swiss watch company Christoph Grainger-Herrstoph, who spent a staggering sum of about 60,000 dollars for the hologram. This hologram was displayed in 3D in full-size 4k resolution to see all people and the power to talk to them as if they were there. Portals in which we see holograms have built-in speakers that are built-in at the right angle, thanks to which we have the impression that the sound comes from the mouth of the hologram.  other companies that use cheaper solutions, eg Microsoft uses HoloLens 2 (for which you have to pay about 3-4 thousand dollars), but this device does not create 3d holograms that would be realistic. Another example of the use of holograms is complex engineering in which the engineer would not have to move between countries, and the power would remotely use holograms to show exactly how a given mounting or structure should look like.

THE DISADVANTAGES OF THE HOLOGRAMS

But is this type of technology very necessary? It is an interesting solution, but whether it can replace a normal meeting with another person or a telephone conversation, rather not because direct contact between a person and a person is more necessary for us than we think, as shown by the time of the pandemic, and telephone conversations or writing are more private. Well, because let’s consider whether we would prefer to talk to someone using a hologram or meet for a coffee, go for a walk or some sport together. A person using a hologram needs a special machine for this, which cannot be used portably, for this very high costs related to the price of such devices make them impossible to take into account on a larger scale, because most people would not be able to afford them. . Holograms can be a nice gadget at conference presentations, but you can still ask yourself the same question if they are necessary. Remotely, using programs and a well-prepared presentation, you can still prepare a very good presentation that can give a better effect than a hologram. As for other engineering applications, it is better to create clear instructions for a given structure that would allow the repair and construction of the device without the need to send engineers from a given company around the world.

TO SUM UP

Summing up, holograms are an interesting device thanks to which the development of technology in image transmission will go very forward, but its prices are not adequate to what they can convey, which means that for the majority of society they seem to be just a gadget that cannot be used to anything more specific.

INTRODUCTION

Pfizer is a pharmaceutical company based in New York. The company was founded in 1849 and has been on the drug production market for a long time, however, it was only the creation of the covid 19 vaccine that made the company one of the largest giants in this industry. The company created the vaccine in collaboration with BioNtech and thanks to close support this vaccine achieved very high scores (about 95 per cent) on effectiveness against covid 19.

WALLSTREET VS PFIZER

The company, after all, is not appreciated on the WallStreet stock exchange, where the company’s shares do not grow as high as other companies producing vaccines. Indeed, the company’s profits were not so high when it comes to the stock exchanges, but the company BioNtech, closely cooperating with Pfizer, gained a lot, whose shares went up by 258 per cent according to the latest stock exchange reports. Because covid has become a disease similar to the flu, in terms of its frequency of occurrence during the year, the company can achieve more and more profits in the coming years because the production of the vaccine is increasing and the effectiveness of Pfizer is often much higher than that of other vaccines, which is why it is willingly chosen (the exception is modern, which has very similar results, and AstraZeneca, which, despite its directly lower effectiveness, can do better in the long term than Pfizer). For example, Johnson and Johnson produces vaccines with much lower effectiveness than Pfizer, which means that much fewer countries decide to buy them. Also, after 3 vaccinations, the Pfizer vaccine immunizes humans against a new variant of coronavirus, i.e. omicron. Research has shown that this type of coronavirus is not as dangerous as some of its earlier varieties.

PAXLOVID

Pfizer has also recently created a new anti-viral pill (C23H32F3N5O4). Paxlovid is an antiviral drug that (blocks the activity of an enzyme that the virus needs to multiply. levels that affect the virus). Paxlovid administered 3 days after the onset of coronavirus symptoms showed very high effectiveness of around 90 per cent, which makes it the most effective known drug, which will probably be introduced to the market after all research and will become widely available in the coming years.

WHY IT IS BAD?

But why is it not so good? Currently, only 2 companies are actually in the race for vaccine effectiveness. Moderna and Pfizer do not have to worry too much about the competition of AstraZeneca, which due to their dubious poor start, poor results and a large number of critical negative symptoms caused by its administration, were far behind, as well as Johnson and Jonhson, who voluntarily withdraws from the production of vaccines, not to mention already about Sputnik which is more of a meme than an actually successful vaccine. Moderna and Pfizer, in cooperation with BioNtech, will take over the vaccine market in 100 per cent in some time, since they are private companies and they will be able to significantly increase the price of their vaccines. History has shown that the existence of a monopoly or a duopoly on the market is never beneficial to the consumer and can cause serious problems with the price of the vaccine. The entry threshold for the production of a vaccine is very high, therefore competitive companies that want to compete with the above-mentioned companies may not be able to cope with this market.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we are pleased with the enormous development of knowledge about coronavirus that allows us to deal with it, but it may be worrying what will happen when 2 companies from one country take over the vaccine market around the world.

Benzen

Benzene is an organic compound (exactly an aromatic hydrocarbon) present in the air and soil, but most of all it is produced as a result of the processing of crude oil. Although it occurs in nature, it is a toxic compound. Long-term stay in places with an excess of it may cause carcinogenic disease.

P&G PROBLEMS

Recently, the Procter and Gumble company has withdrawn deodorants from companies such as Old Spyce (which belong to the aforementioned group). Because they had a small amount of benzene in their composition, although they met the requirements for its amount in this product. The company itself admitted that it had not received any complaints about the defectiveness of their products from external companies or consumers, and stated in its statement that the detected (daily) level of benzene would not cause health problems for consumers. These deodorants, although they had an expiry date until 2023, did not return for sale and were probably disposed of and new deodorants were produced on their site to cover the losses. It is not a happy time for P&G as the company has also had problems with excess benzene in its products in the recent past. Some time ago, Valisure Company discovered a significant excess amount of benzene in other old spice products, which could already lead to health problems due to the 8 times excess amount of benzene in the products. These products were immediately withdrawn from sale.

QUESTION FROM THE HEADER(OPINION)

So benzene is a poisonous product and as a result of its long-term excess, it can lead to the formation of negative mutations in the human body leading to cancer and causing a reduction in the number of red blood cells, leading to anaemia. However, despite this, using it in such small amounts as the use of a deodorant on the skin should not harm your health. First of all, the deodorant is not recommended to be sprayed significantly so that the aerosol reaches the respiratory system in large amounts. Secondly, when the aerosol hits the skin, it is not exposed to the penetration of benzene through its skin because the SKIN IS A MINIMUM PERCENTAGE OF GAS EXCHANGE AND THE BENZENE IS ALMOST ABSORBED BY IT. Therefore we should not worry about even a little more of it in an aerosol.

REAL PROBLEM (OPINION)

What we should be worried about are other constituents of these aerosols which can be irritating, carcinogenic, even one of the causes of Alzheimer’s or lead to hormonal imbalance in the body. Most people living on our planet are not aware of the existence of these components in aerosols. Knowing the composition of aerosols is important to avoid those that have the following substances in them:

–Synthetic fragrances that pass through the skin and can accumulate in it (studies have shown that they can accumulate in it for so long that they can even be passed on in the future in mother’s milk)

–formaldehyde-carcinogenic and irritating directly on the skin

–propylene glycol makes it easier for other substances to get through the skin

–aluminium clogs the pores of the skin and then, after long use, it can get into the human body, and unfortunately, significant amounts of aluminium in the body may affect the development of Alzheimer’s in the human body.

–triclosan passes through the skin and can harm a person’s endocrine system

SUMMARY

Benzene can be dangerous in too large amounts, even in deodorants when it reaches the respiratory system, but in fact, compared to other deodorant ingredients, it is not a major problem. Therefore, it is important to check the labels of deodorants and avoid those containing the above-mentioned substances.
