GeForce Now new approach to gaming

Reading Time: 2 minutes

GeForce Now is a cloud gaming service developed and maintained by NVIDIA. It allows users to play their favorite PC games on any device with internet access, including Macs, PCs, and Shield devices.

One of the biggest advantages of using GeForce Now is the ability to play games on devices that would not normally be capable of running them.

Most of the new games are requiring very expensive computer sets that most of us don’t have. For example, a MacBook Air or a low-end Windows PC would not be able to run the latest AAA games, but with GeForce Now, users can play those games at high settings and with smooth performance.

Another advantage of using GeForce Now is the convenience of having all of your games in one place. Rather than having to switch between different gaming platforms or downloads, users can simply log into GeForce Now and access their entire library of games.

GeForce Now also allows users to play games with their friends, even if they are on different platforms. This is possible because the service streams the game from the cloud to the user’s device, rather than having the user download and run the game locally. It’s great because probably one of your friends is playing on PS4 another one on Xbox, and you are PC player. Thanks to Geforce Now you will be able to play all together

GeForce Now is also constantly updating with new features and improvements. They have recently added the ability to play games at 1080p resolution with 60fps and ray tracing. This makes the service more appealing to users who are looking for a high-quality gaming experience.

One downside of GeForce Now is that it requires a fast and stable internet connection to work properly. Users with slow or unreliable internet may experience lag or other issues while using the service. But it’s for sure more viable than investing in an expensive graphic card.

Overall, GeForce Now is a great option for users who want to play their favorite PC games on any device, without having to worry about hardware limitations. With its convenience, cross-platform play, and constant updates, it is definitely worth checking out for any gamer.

Why Metaverse will fail?

Reading Time: 3 minutes
Metaverse is Failure. Or not? | Flam Blog

The concept of the Metaverse, a virtual world where people can interact and transact in a seamless and immersive environment, has been gaining traction in recent years. Some envision it as a revolutionary platform for socialization, commerce, and entertainment, while others see it as a pipe dream that is unlikely to materialize. But why the Metaverse is likely to fail?

Despite the significant investments made in its development, the metaverse has yet to achieve its desired level of user engagement and is facing ongoing quality issues. For example Mark Zuckerberg’s net worth pumped down for almost $100 billion because of his blind belief in his company META – one of the biggest companies in metaverse industry

Financial statements show that the exec has largely bet his company's future on the flailing technology, sinking tens of billions of company funds as it continues to struggle

First and foremost, the technological and logistical challenges of building a truly immersive and interconnected Metaverse are formidable. The technology required to create a virtual world that is indistinguishable from reality does not currently exist, and even if it were to be developed, it would be extremely expensive and resource-intensive. Furthermore, building a Metaverse that is accessible to everyone would require a significant amount of infrastructure and resources, such as high-speed internet, powerful computers, and advanced headsets or other devices.

Another major obstacle is the issue of interoperability. For the Metaverse to be truly successful, it would need to be accessible across different devices and platforms, which would require the development of a common set of standards and protocols. However, achieving this level of interoperability is difficult, as it would require the cooperation of multiple companies and organizations that are often in competition with one another.

Additionally, the Metaverse faces a number of legal and regulatory challenges. For example, issues such as privacy, security, and intellectual property rights would need to be addressed in order for the Metaverse to be a viable platform for commerce and business. The lack of clear guidelines and regulations in this area could make it difficult for companies to operate within the Metaverse, and for users to trust the platform.

Another problem for the metaverse is the reluctance of users to fully engage, as the metaverse is not a real place, and most people enjoy the comforts and safety of the real world more. They might have some fun in the metaverse, but probably not to the degree that will make them willing to abandon their real-world lives and communities.

Lastly, there is the question of whether people even want a Metaverse. The idea of a virtual world where people can interact and transact in a seamless and immersive environment sounds appealing in theory, but it is not clear whether it is something that people would actually use and find valuable in their everyday lives.

In conclusion, while the idea of a Metaverse is exciting and has the potential to change the way we interact and transact with one another, it is unlikely to become a reality due to the significant technological, logistical, legal, and social challenges that it faces.

It may take decades or even centuries to reach the level of development and interoperability needed for a successful metaverse.

ChatGPT Made Me Question What It Means to Be a Creative Human | Vanity Fair

In recent days, there is a lot of noise about new chatbot from the AI field.

GPT stands for Generative Pretrained Technology. ChatGPT was trained on a massive dataset of human-generated text. The chatbot is able to generate human-like responses to a given input, making it an effective tool for conversation.

One of the main features of ChatGPT is its ability to generate coherent responses to a wide range of topics. It is capable of carrying on a conversation with a user, answering questions, and providing information on a variety of subjects. This is made possible by its extensive training on a diverse dataset, which allows it to understand and respond appropriately to a wide range of inputs.

It does not only give you one answer to your question, but what’s more important it gives various answers if it’s possible and a whole explanation of it.

For example here is some question about HTTP request in Javascript solved by this chatbot:

Its capabilities, however, are far greater than that.

Another key aspect of ChatGPT is its ability to understand and respond to context. It is able to maintain a conversation by remembering previous inputs and using them to generate more appropriate responses. This ability to understand and respond to context is a major breakthrough in the field of artificial intelligence and natural language processing, as it allows chatbots to have more realistic and human-like conversations.

It is important to note that ChatGPT is a machine learning model and does not have the ability to intentionally engage in plagiarism.

However, it is possible that text generated by ChatGPT could contain passages that are similar to existing texts, either intentionally or unintentionally. This could occur if the input provided to the model includes text that is similar to existing texts, or if the model has been trained on a dataset that includes such texts.

If you are using ChatGPT or any other language generation tool for the purpose of creating original content, it is important to carefully review the output and ensure that it is properly cited and attributed.

In conclusion, ChatGPT is a major breakthrough in the field of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. Its ability to generate coherent and contextually appropriate responses to a wide range of inputs makes it a valuable tool for conversation and information dissemination. Its success is a testament to the advances that have been made in the field of AI and underscores the potential for further developments in the future.

Neuralink brain chip to begin human trails in six months.

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Neuralink is a company founded by Elon Musk.

Company’s main product is a chip that is implanted into the brain, so far tests took place only on animals.

The chip is about the size of a coin and is surgically implanted into the brain. It contains thousands of tiny electrodes that can pick up the electrical signals produced by neurons in the brain. These signals are processed by the chip and translated into digital signals that can be interpreted by a computer.

The potential benefits of this technology are enormous. For people with conditions such as paralysis or severe motor impairments, the chip could allow them to control a computer or a robotic limb with their thoughts. This could greatly improve their quality of life and independence.

In addition to helping people with disabilities, the technology could also have many other applications. For example, it could be used to improve memory, enable people to learn new skills more quickly, or even enhance intelligence.

Recently, Neuralink announced that they will be starting human trials of their chip. This is a significant step forward for the company and the brain-computer interfaces field.

The human trials will involve a small group of volunteers who will have the chip implanted into their brains. The volunteers will then undergo a series of tests to evaluate the performance of the chip and to assess its safety.

The results of the human trials will be important for several reasons. First, they will provide valuable information about the performance of the chip and its potential benefits. This will help the company to refine the technology and make it more effective.

Of course, as with any new technology, there are also potential drawbacks and ethical concerns. One concern is that the technology could be used to control people’s minds or to violate their privacy. It is important that the development of this technology be carefully regulated to ensure that it is used for the benefit of humanity.

Overall, the development of the Neuralink chip is an exciting advancement in the field of brain-computer interfaces. While there are certainly challenges to be overcome, the potential benefits of this technology make it an exciting area of research and development.

Does Hydrogen cars have more encouraging future than Electric cars?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

In the last few years there has been a huge increased interest in electric cars. It is caused by ecological trends and interests in renewable energy. Removal of combustion cars is unavoidable. However electric cars are not the only ones with the bright future. There’s a lot of talk about hydrogen cars that may be better alternative for combustion cars.

Vehicles that are powered by H2 are called fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV). Because their only emission is water and warm air. However sourcing H2 produces approximately 830 million tons of CO2 every year, which is equivalent to the emission of the Poland and Indonesia combined. So it is not that ecofriendly as it seems like.

Much Is being said about ecological aspects of electric cars, but it’s rarely spoken about future of the car batteries. There is still some uncertainty, they’re hard to recycle same as solar panels for example. Hydrogen cars offer fuel cells that seems to get rid of that problem.

What about filling time? Here hydrogen cars are crushing electric competitor.

Depending on the power of the charger it takes at least half an hour to give the batteries 80% power, filling a hydrogen fuel tank takes only 5-minutes or less. However, exploitation of the electric car is cheaper because of the prices of the powering and refueling time.

The real problem of this technology is getting hydrogen in its pure from. Although hydrogen is the most common element in the universe it doesn’t exist in its pure form. To get hydrogen in its form to power the car, we need to produce it from the other compounds like natural gas, water or other fossil fuels. To do this energy needs to be used an environmental and economic costs enter the equation.

The European Union struck a deal to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2035. In my opinion we need to have some different various types of fuel for the car, to have a choice and not cause a monopoly for electric cars.

That’s why I think that there is very bright future for the hydrogen cars, but we must develop better technologies to produce pure form of the hydrogen, and how to increase the efficiency of it. Also, without the evolution of the infrastructure, there will not be bright future for the hydrogen cars.
